About the Artist

Nana (Nanuka) Tchitchoua is a Georgian-born, Los Angeles based artist whose practice spans painting, print-making, and experimental film. With a background in animation (BFA and MFA from CalArts), her work blends movement, rhythm, and narrative into a distinct visual language.

Rooted in explorations of spirituality and the inner world, her paintings combine layered textures with botanical, animal, and symbolic forms. Drawing from nature, folklore, and cosmology, she creates spaces where the physical and metaphysical meet.

In an age shaped by conflict, misinformation, and environmental shifts, her work reflects both psychological complexity and quiet wonder, an ongoing investigation for meaning through image, surface, and symbol.
